On Saturday, September 12th, McBride Impact and GRASP Enterprise in conjunction with Kids Above Everything, Inc. held a backpack drive and free hair cut event at the Park Hill Golf Club. The event was open to all youth in the community to come and receive a free backpack full of school supplies. The organization has been doing backpack drives for 7 years, and this event marked the 10,000th backpack given away. The giveaway also included a brand new ipad. The young girl who won was there with her younger brother so he was given an ipad as well!
